Hi,

I am currently writing an application to MMS messages over a mobile phone.

Can i use an EDGE modem to sen the messages ?

hope i can have a good start here.

i'm writing application to send mms too.
but my problem is that i dunno how to send my mms file to mmsc. Many people out there suggested using WSP/HTTP post operation. Can someone explain how to make post operation on WSP and HTTP?

Hello Presley,

You have to use the MM1 protocol, this means MMS over GPRS, you have to create a dialup connection using GPRS first, then establish a WAP connection through your providers WAP gateway.

Hello Nimesh,

You can use an EDGE modem, it should send MMS faster then a regular GPRS modem. Evem better is to use UMTS or HSDPA to send the messages. Please have a look at our hardware section for a list of supported hardware:
