I am currently writing an application to MMS messages over a mobile phone.
Can i use an EDGE modem to sen the messages ?

hope i can have a good start here.
i'm writing application to send mms too.
but my problem is that i dunno how to send my mms file to mmsc. Many people out there suggested using WSP/HTTP post operation. Can someone explain how to make post operation on WSP and HTTP? |

Hello Presley,
You have to use the MM1 protocol, this means MMS over GPRS, you have to create a dialup connection using GPRS first, then establish a WAP connection through your providers WAP gateway.

Hello Nimesh,
You can use an EDGE modem, it should send MMS faster then a regular GPRS modem. Evem better is to use UMTS or HSDPA to send the messages. Please have a look at our hardware section for a list of supported hardware:
