Can i hide my number when sending SMS ?

It depends which protocol you are using to send out SMS messages.

When you send SMS using a connected GSM phone or terminal it is not possible, simply because the GSM network does not support it. It always stamps the message with your subscriber ID.

When using other protocols such as SMPP, HTTP or UCP, most providers allow you to change the number, sometimes you can event set an alphanumeric text up to 11 characters instead of using a phone number.

Please not that even when you can change the number, some network will not route messages with spoofed telephone numbers or alphanumeric source addresses.
