Hi all,

Is it possible to send an mms over sms using a wap push or something?

MMS is NOT implemented over sms. SMS is used to notify the recipient there is a package waiting. The package will be transfered to the recipients cell phone then.

Ok, I know MMS is NOT transfered over SMS, but I'd like to know if the MMS Notification (M-Notification.ind) is implemented as a Service Indication when when it is sent over SMS. If it's not, is it implemented as a different kind of WAP Push message or something?

Hi,

MMS indications are not exactly the same as push messages. It is a SMS message containing a MMSE (MMS Encapsulation) structure.

These messages can be send using a GSM modem or SMPP/HTTP connection to a SMSC.
